Waterlife Myxazin is a broad-spectrum anti-bacterial and anti-fungal treatment designed to safely cure and protect aquarium fish. It is highly effective for treating bacterial and fungal ailments, including fin rot, body rot, ulcers, sores, pop-eye, cloudy eyes, mouth fungus, and red veins. It works by actively lowering the count of harmful bacteria in the aquarium.

- Versatile Use: Safe for tropical freshwater, cold-water, and marine (fish-only) aquariums.

- Reef/Plant Safety: The formula is mild on fish and won't harm biological filters or live plants.

- Sterilization: Can also be utilized outside of the tank to sterilize fish nets and live foods like Daphnia and Tubifex.

How to Use

- Standard Dosage: A typical treatment course lasts for 5 days. Always consult the exact package directions, but it often involves adding a specific measure (e.g., 2.5ml per 75 liters) daily for 5 consecutive days.

- Preventative: Can be used when introducing new fish to reduce the risk of infection (usually dosed once a day for 2 days).

- Filter Adjustments: Remove chemical filtration media (like carbon or zeolite) and switch off UV sterilizers and ozonizers while dosing.

- Half-Dose: Use half the recommended dose if treating fry, sensitive species, or if heavy filtration is present.

Important Notes

- Do not use simultaneously with other aquarium medications. Allow at least 48 hours or up to 4 days if you are switching from treatments like Protozin or Cuprazin.

- Myxazin contains active ingredients including malachite green and acriflavine hydrochloride, and contains colored dyes that can stain clothing or furnishings.
